Responsibilities: • Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans • Assess the patients’ overall dental health and look for presence of dental diseases, by thoroughly examining the patients’ teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments • Show patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as retainers and dentures and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene • Implement and coordinate preventive dental care treatments such as flossing, fillings, sealants, x-rays, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated • Ensure all work is compliant with infection and infectious diseases control standards; office policies and procedures; and safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines Qualifications: • Two years of dentistry experience in clinical or private practice is required • Requires CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications • Computer proficiency is desired • Relevant knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is an asset • DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor’s degree are required • Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical procedures Compensation: $400,000 yearly
