Landmark Event Co. is a leading event and catering company known for crafting memorable experiences. We are searching for a strategic and creative Marketing Director to lead all aspects of our marketing efforts, from digital and traditional to social media and event marketing. Position Summary:
The Marketing Director will oversee all marketing functions, including digital/lead generation, campaign planning, collateral creation, traditional and event marketing, social media, and content strategy. This role will drive brand visibility and lead-generation efforts while managing internal and external resources to execute campaigns and marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Campaign Planning:
Develop and implement marketing campaigns to drive leads and engagement. Deploy the campaigns across channels as appropriate (digital, social, traditional, events, trade shows) pulling together internal and external resources in order to do so.
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation:
Working with our internal digital marketing team as well as external resources as needed, manage and optimize digital marketing efforts to drive inbound leads. In a detailed manner oversee the execution of SEO/SEM, PPC, email campaigns, and website content. Track and report on digital KPIs, adjusting tactics to improve performance and ROI.
Creative Oversight & Collateral Management:
Write briefs and project manage the execution of all content. Write copy as necessary. Oversee the graphic design function, ensuring all digital and physical collateral is executed precisely on brand.
Social Media & Content Marketing:
Oversee social media content in developing engaging content across social channels, driving brand awareness and engagement. Oversee the content marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives. Monitor and analyze social media performance, optimizing for engagement and growth.
Event Marketing & Partnerships:
Plan and manage marketing efforts for trade shows, sponsored events, and industry partnerships. Ensure seamless integration of event marketing efforts with digital and content strategies.
Budgeting, Analytics & Reporting:
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with business priorities. Analyze marketing metrics and provide performance reports to leadership, offering insights on campaign effectiveness and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong background in digital marketing, campaign management, and lead generation. Proven experience with social media management, content strategy, and creative direction. An ability to nimbly pull together resources (internal resources, contractors, agencies) in order to accomplish a variety of marketing objectives. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Experience in the hospitality industry. Job Type:
