Landscaping Construction Director (Executive)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaping Leader to join our team as an equity partner. I’m in the process of acquiring a landscaping construction company, which is where your expertise will be vital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the ability to effectively maintain and enhance various landscapes. This role involves hands-on tasks related to lawn care, groundskeeping, and overall landscape maintenance, ensuring that our clients' properties are aesthetically pleasing and well-kept. Responsibilities Perform regular lawn care and hardscaping activities, including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing, building external hard surfaces of buildings. Execute irrigation tasks to ensure proper water distribution for plants and lawns. Provide tree care services, including pruning and health assessments. Build and maintain garden beds, ensuring optimal plant health and aesthetics. Oversee landscape maintenance projects, ensuring quality standards are met. Supervise junior staff members, providing leadership and guidance as needed. Maintain equipment used in landscaping tasks, ensuring it is in good working condition. Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of irrigation systems and techniques is essential. Familiarity with tree care practices and groundskeeping methods is a plus. Ability to build garden structures or features as required. Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams is beneficial. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
