Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated attorney to support our California practice. This role offers a competitive compensation package and is designed for professionals eager to make a significant impact within a dynamic firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal support for the California practice focusing on real estate and creditors’ rights matters.
Manage a substantial caseload effectively and efficiently.
Engage in court appearances and travel as required.
Required Skills:
Active member in good standing of the California State Bar, with eligibility in CA federal district and bankruptcy courts.
8+ years of experience in mortgage foreclosure and collections.
Proven capability to handle a significant volume of creditor’s rights cases.
Familiarity with discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
Appellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code are advantageous.
Exceptional leadership abilities coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills.
A commitment to establishing and nurturing relationships, aiming to be perceived as a trusted partner and advisor by clients and colleagues.
Commitment to superior client service, demonstrating confidence and sound judgment.
Qualifications:
Bar License in the state of CA is required; additional Bar Licenses are a plus.
