Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Salary Range: $30.00 - $34.00 Hourly

Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team! This role is vital in supporting HR operations, including pre-employment processing, onboarding, employee relations, safety programs, and compliance. Reporting to the HR Director, you’ll work closely with employees and management, ensuring HR policies and practices are upheld while fostering a positive workplace environment. If you’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about HR, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pre-employment, onboarding, and employee records to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Oversee safety, Workers’ Compensation, and Cal/OSHA compliance, serving as the organization’s Safety Officer.

• Provide guidance on HR policies, employment laws, and employee relations.

• Conduct training for employees and managers on HR-related topics.

• Maintain and audit HR files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Stay up-to-date on HR laws, recommending improvements to processes and policies.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of progressive HR experience in California.

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (PHR or SHRM-CP preferred).

• Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, employment laws, and HR best practices.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related platforms.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
