About the job Welder-MIG/TIG: 1st & 2nd Shift Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled MIG/TIG Welder to perform all phases of the TIG weld function, sets-up machinery, tools and parts for job completion. Key Responsibilities: Understands and follows all applicable safety policies and procedures. Refers to production Manufacturing Process Control Document (MPCD) for job specifics. Sets up and runs jobs as required. Resolves problems with job as required. Assists in the resolution of production, quality, and engineering issues. Ensures machines are maintained per safety and quality standards. Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/ manager. Qualifications: Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One year certificate from college or technical school preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience 2-3 years related experience or training Other Requirements: Understanding and ability to use quality inspection equipment (calipers, height stand, protractor). Strong problem-solving skills. MIG/TIG Welding certification preferred. Ability to wear a respirator, as required.
