Project Architect/Designer

Job Title: Architect/Designer Company Overview: Relevant Design Group serves as the architectural and design division of a development and construction firm located in Jacksonville. Our team is comprised of diverse, collaborative, and creative professionals from various disciplines, all dedicated to producing innovative designs. Position Summary: We are on the lookout for a full-time Architect/Designer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an architectural or residential design office. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential, while familiarity with Revit and 2020 Kitchen and Bath Design Software is advantageous but not mandatory. The chosen candidate should have a solid background in residential and light commercial design, capable of producing comprehensive construction plans and documents with guidance from our Principal Architect. Ideal candidates will possess a keen eye for detail, outstanding communication skills, and strong self-motivation. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to work on a diverse array of projects within a small, creatively-driven team. Key Responsibilities: Focus on both design and technical elements throughout project development. Gather vital information necessary for project success, including field measurements and zoning regulations. Collaborate with team members to develop concepts that align with project goals, aesthetics, and budgetary constraints. Coordinate and generate required documentation in partnership with consultants and internally. Work alongside production staff to ensure timely project updates for management and ownership teams. Produce complete construction drawings/documents from inception to completion with minimal oversight. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. At least 6 years of experience within an architecture firm. Proficient in AutoCAD and knowledgeable with SketchUp. Proven experience in creating architectural drawings and details. Intermediate to advanced understanding of construction processes and structural integrity. Familiarity with the Florida Building Code. Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Highly self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
