Job Posting: Project Engineer – Construction (Phoenix) A renowned construction company is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Project Engineer to join their dynamic team in Phoenix. In this role, you will work closely with the project management and field teams to ensure successful project completion—safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities, a proactive approach, and a commitment to excellence in construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Collaborate with the project management team to plan, schedule, and coordinate various construction activities. Documentation Handling: Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting notes. Budget Management: Track project costs, assist in budget management, and help prepare financial forecasts. Quality Assurance: Support quality control efforts by ensuring that project specifications and industry standards are consistently met. Procurement Assistance: Aid in the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to maintain project timelines. Subcontractor Coordination: Liaise with subcontractors to communicate project needs and track performance. Safety Oversight: Work with safety teams to promote a culture of workplace safety and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Technical Support: Provide technical guidance to field teams to solve construction challenges efficiently. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in construction or a similar field (internship experience is considered). Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles. Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects. Knowledge of safety standards and quality control regulations.
