Trueline's client, a leading provider of innovative modular systems for data centers and industrial applications, is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join their team in Houston, TX. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a dynamic, fast-growing company.
What You'll Do as the Entry-Level Electrical Engineer:
- Collaborate on electrical system designs, including one-line diagrams, load lists, and cable schedules
- Assist with 3D modeling using SolidWorks or Revit
- Support interdepartmental communication and project documentation
- Contribute to preliminary designs and system optimization for client needs
- Aid in equipment selection, vendor management, and specification review
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues
- Help establish and maintain quality assurance standards
- Compile technical documentation for operations and maintenance manuals
You'll Succeed as the Entry-Level Electrical Engineer if you Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency in at least one 3D modeling platform (SolidWorks or Revit)
- AutoCAD 2020 or later experience
- Familiarity with NEC, IEC, NFPA, and other relevant codes
- Ability to perform electrical calculations and basic short-circuit analysis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A self-starter attitude with excellent organizational abilities
- EIT certification (preferred)
- Relevant internship experience (preferred)
