We are in search of an HR Generalist for an opportunity in Wilmington, North Carolina. This role is pivotal in the functioning of our team, where you will manage various HR tasks, including recruitment, policy formulation, and employee relations. This is a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently conducting the recruitment process, from creating job advertisements to conducting interviews and finalizing hires
• Designing and enforcing HR policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
• Coordinating the onboarding process for newly hired employees to ensure a seamless transition into the company
• Overseeing compensation plans and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and align with company policies
• Advising managers on effective performance management strategies and handling employee relations matters
• Utilizing HR systems such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and Dayforce for various HR functions
• Ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies
• Handling employee relations issues and FMLA requests effectively
• Demonstrating strong communication skills in all interactions with team members and employees.• Proven experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Ability to work with Ceridian software
• Experience with Dayforce for HR functions
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions within an HR context
• Excellent Communication skills, both oral and written
• Understanding of Compliance regulations and standards within HR
• Proven track record in managing Employee Relations
• Experience with FMLA administration and compliance.
