We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Irvine, California. The role involves a hybrid work model and provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. The HR Generalist will be responsible for handling a variety of human resources functions including employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.
Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain credible relationships with client groups, utilizing effective communication skills.
• Conduct thorough and objective investigations into associate relations issues and concerns from both employees and management.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, providing solutions and recommendations to leaders within the organization.
• Maintain a consistent understanding of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees to ensure compliance with state, federal, and administrative employment laws.
• Respond to serviceline inquiries, providing effective solutions to queries.
• Handle complaints, coaching management and employees through the process and conducting investigations when necessary.
• Complete disciplinary actions reports and close out performance plans as required.
• Review and process Change of Status forms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office products and knowledge of human resources technical and functional components in daily tasks.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, best practices, and requirements related to human resources including EEO, ADA, Workers Compensation, Wage & Hour, and others.• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist
• Proficient in using ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce
• Ability to manage Benefit Functions
• Excellent Communication skills
• Strong understanding of Compliance in HR practices
• Proven experience in Employee Relations
• Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
