BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Accounting Clerk  for an opportunity located in O'Fallon, MO       

Position Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: O'Fallon, MO

Expected Duration:  12 months contract 

Pay Rate : $22.00 per hour on W2

5 days onsite role

Hours: 8:30am – 5.00pm         

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). 

Responsibilities:                                                                                                   

• Accounting Clerk

• This position is an onsite position, Monday through Friday.

• The candidate in this position will be detailed-oriented, organized, and have a focus on quality of work over quantity.

• The candidate will be able to work in both a group setting, and alone with minimal supervision.

• The position will require the candidate to be able to learn at a reasonable pace and have the ability to recall information learned.

• This is an expansive position, meaning that the more the candidate is able to learn, the more items and processes they will be responsible for reviewing.

• The nature of the business is issuing checks for closed estates, foreign currency exchange, court-ordered payments, and performing online transfers for customers.

• This position has a direct customer impact, and the work is subject to adhering to federal regulations and time constraints.

• Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

• Most of the daily tasks will be performed on software platforms.

• The candidate will be trained on necessary platforms and for processes required to perform job correctly and efficiently."
