We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Chatham, Massachusetts. You will be joining a dynamic team in the hospitality industry, working fully onsite with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
• Efficiently utilize accounting software systems for data entry tasks.
• Communicate effectively with vendors on various matters.
• Conduct regular auditing to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
• Perform bank reconciliations to confirm that all transactions align with bank records.
• Maintain and manage financial files and records.
• Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for integrated business management.
• Provide general accounting support as and when required.
• Ensure the accurate use of ADP - Financial Services, CaseWare, and Concur for financial operations.
• Oversee all accounting functions to ensure smooth financial operations.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for efficient data management and financial analysis.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary, as this will aid in managing payroll and HR services.

• Familiarity with CaseWare is crucial for effective auditing and financial reporting.

• Knowledge of Concur is needed for efficient travel and expense management.

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary for optimizing business processes.

• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions is required for maintaining financial records.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is needed to manage the company's bills and payments.

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial for overseeing incoming payments from clients.

• Auditing skills are required for ensuring the accuracy and legality of financial records.

• Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations is necessary for ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
