You will be reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high equipment reliability by performing essential maintenance tasks to minimize downtime. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, as well as identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance on machinery, including 3-phase systems ranging from 24V to 480V.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot and repair systems.
- Dismantle defective machines and equipment, and replace parts as needed.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure all equipment and physical structures are in optimal condition.
- Clean and lubricate machine components such as shafts, bearings, and gears.
- Install and repair electrical apparatus, transformers, wiring, and other components of machinery and equipment.
- Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems and related equipment.
- Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Utilize power tools (grinders, drills, sawzall) safely and effectively.
- Welding experience (TIG, MIG) is a plus.
- Experience with PLCs and 3-phase electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Use electrical testing equipment (multimeter, megger) for diagnostics and repairs.
