Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind the cloud.  Within CO+I, the Core Datacenter Services (CDS) team is responsible for the development and implementation of global strategies across our Datacenters (DCs).As a Principal Manager of Program Management - Datacenter Efficiency, you will be responsible for leading the management of our initiatives launched to our DC Ops Field. You will lead the team to develop and drive launch plans and strategies and hold them accountable for evaluating success metrics for complex, high-impact launches. You will coach teams to prepare business users for change due to implementation with theme of maximizing efficiency and optimization in our Datacenters (DCs).We are seeking a skilled and motivated leader to join our dynamic team. The candidate will have a proven track record in managing enterprise level programs in a complex environment and optimizing performance across the organization. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred/Additional Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business Supply Chain, Finance, Business Management, Accounting, Human Resources (HR), Organizational Development or related field AND 12+ years work experience in operations, process design, or program/project managementOR equivalent experience.10+ years of people management experienceLaunch Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Lead team to bring in stakeholders in at the right time, communicate progress and implications for launches to drive alignment, and identify gaps to ensure risks are covered.Management and ExecutionCoach the team to address expansion blockers and support escalations between stakeholders as needed. Provide guidance to teams in developing innovative and efficient customer-oriented solutions and manages acceptance and resolutions of issues. Coaches and leads teams to manage and prioritize investments and complex projects.Supports LaunchesLeads the team to understand and incorporate internal business requirements and needs of audience, end users, customers, and stakeholders into launch design and execution.
