Summary

This role is primarily responsible for ensuring seamless coverage of workload across all accounts through active daily monitoring and coordination with Traffic staff, Account teams, and clients as necessary. This involves managing deadlines, communicating with media planners and buyers as well as creative staff, resolving issues as they arise, and ensuring that agency procedures are followed so as to maximize efficiencies in workflow and client spending. Traffic Supervisors run reports in Donovan, allocate TV/Cable and radio spot rotations, facilitate the clearance process with networks, coordinate with dub house facilities, issue timelines to production and account teams, and troubleshoot discrepancies.

Responsibilities
  • Issue written directions and schedules to stations and networks concerning the use of creative
  • Order broadcast and telecast commercial material for the air (radio/TV/cable/satellite)
  • See that all creative is delivered on time
  • Estimate costs of dubbing and shipping
  • Network integration changes
  • Create, maintain and distribute comprehensive clearance grids
  • Negotiate with Broadcast Standards & Practices departments on clearance issues
  • Monitor and update status reports for all incoming creative briefs and project requests
  • Assign creative teams' deadlines for various stages of traffic process; monitor status to ensure deadlines are met
  • Keep account teams updated on changes in technology (i.e. SD/HD specs)
  • Counsel account teams or clients on postproduction issues
  • Negotiate dubbing/shipping rates with vendors
  • Maintain production element storage files
  • Approve invoices/address all billing discrepancies with vendors
  • Experience managing a small team and juggling multiple people and work priorities

Education
  • Relevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experience

Qualifications
  • 5+ years ad operations or analytics experience
  • Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and basic JavaScript preferred
  • Proficient in the use of DDS/Donovan, MediaVu preferred

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$115,000-$125,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
