Job Title: Mitigation Operations Manager - Water Restoration

Location: Snohomish, WA

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

We are seeking a highly qualified Mitigation Manager to join our team in Seattle, WA. The Mitigation Manager will oversee the entire mitigation process, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction in our 24/7 operation.

Job Description:

The Mitigation Operations Manager plays a pivotal role within our organization, overseeing a dedicated team responsible for handling every aspect of our Water, Mold, Fire & Smoke, Asbestos & Lead, and Trauma & Biohazard damage restoration projects in our 24/7 operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and career development to a team of hardworking individuals. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
  2. Department Management: Supervise and guide a multifaceted team of restoration professionals, including our dispatchers, project managers, technicians, billers, and collections. Ensure teams are prepared and ready to manage their jobs daily.
  3. Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a customer-centric focus throughout the mitigation process. Address customer concerns and provide regular updates to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
  4. Budget Control: Effectively allocate resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to optimize project performance in a 24/7 operation. Monitor inventory of equipment and supplies.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal laws, including OSHA, Washington State Department of Commerce, L&I, etc. as well as the IICRC's applicable standards and company policies in all mitigation projects. Conduct regular inspections, on-site quality checks, and ride along's to maintain excellence in service delivery.
  6. Estimating and Sales: Oversee the Mitigation Sales Manager and his/her team of Project Managers to further coach in-home estimating practices and sales practices to accurately secure projects.
  7. Compliance and Reporting: Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations relevant to water restoration. Ensure all projects adhere to environmental and safety regulations. Ensure the team maintains comprehensive project records in DASH, MICA, and Xactimate.
  8. On-Call Responsibilities: You are managing a 24/7 Emergency Response Team. With this, you may be involved in responses to employees and/or customers after your normal business hours as needed.
  9. Safety: Enforce safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Note: While a degree is preferred, we recognize that life/work experience speaks volumes to a candidate's capabilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in water restoration with at least 2+ years of management experience holding a successful track record in mitigation management (we are also open to experience in other home service-based industries).
  • Strong servant-based leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of IICRC WRT, ASD, and AMRT (highly preferred), we prefer Master Track Certifications, but the core 3 are acceptable as well.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate, DASH, MICA, PowerBI, Microsoft Office, DocuSketch.
  • Highly results and goals oriented.
