Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 3 years full time related work experience. or
Associate's Degree and 5 years full time related work experience or
High School Diploma/GED and 10 years full time related work experience.
Preferred Education/Experience

Relevant Work Experience
Must possess 3-5 years working knowledge of construction and gas work practices. Required
Must have 3-5 years' experience in Gas Operations, Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Welding, or related fields. Required
Must identify and process procedural and mechanical errors in the field. Required
Must have strong oral and written communication skills. Required
Must be able to build rapport, develop a working relationship, and influence employees at all company levels. Required
Must have computer skills in Microsoft Office, database management, and knowledge of electronic reporting systems. Required
Must possess 3-5 years working knowledge of processes and procedures in Gas Operations, including, but not limited to, welding, specification compliance, and operator qualification. Required
Current welding certifications Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), ASNT Level I or II NDE (Non Destructive Evaluator) or other related certifications. Preferred

Physical Demands
Ability to respond to system emergencies
Able to work in all weather conditions, i.e. excessive heat and/or cold
Perform extended driving through heavy traffic and severe off-road conditions
Perform heavy manual labor, i.e. push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
Ability to climb ladders and stairs
Ability to work in inclement weather and adverse conditions (i.e., excessive heat, cold, noise, confined spaces)
Ability to work with, and in, the vicinity of high voltage and/or other high-energy systems
Ability to climb in and out of manholes and excavations
Stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs for the duration of the workday
Stand, walk, lift, climb, bend, kneel, stoop, and/or reach for the duration of the workday
Ability to travel to company locations to work on storm restoration and heat contingencies
Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), i.e. fire-retardant clothing and safety harnesses
Work rotating shifts, including nights, midnights, weekends, and holidays
Additional Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory as needed.
Must be willing and able to work weekends and off hours when requested.
Must be able and willing to respond to incidents and emergencies as necessary.
