We're in this together, sustaining the future of our customers, our company, and our planet.Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.About the team and the role:As a Sr. Product Manager on eBay’s Payments Protections team you will work with a dedicated scrum team to create highly scalable solutions and to build products that will shape the next generation of delightful post transaction experiences that increase customer satisfaction and deepen trust.What you will accomplish:Work with our customers and partners to understand their needs and current capabilities and improve their experience on eBayOwn the vision and the end to end user experience for your product, including end-user-facing mobile (iOS & Android) and web apps, middleware, back-end, partner integrations, reporting and other systemsAs part of a cross-functional team, you will get the opportunity to bridge the gap between business, operations and technologyLead the day-to-day activities of our exceptional product development team in terms of prioritizing work, conducting discovery and creating requirements for new features and addressing operational issuesPartner closely with cross functional partners such as Business, UX, Analytics and partner domains to design and deliver industry leading user experiencesWork with our customers and partners to understand their needs, build business proposals to rally support behind the issue and conceptualize solutions to improve their experiencesProvide regular updates to the leadership team on progressEnsure credible speed, reliability, scalability, and security of our productsWhat you will bring:3+ years as product manager and/or equivalent experience on multiple reference-able technical products required, MBA PreferredOutstanding product and design sense and the ability to imagine, wireframe, and communicate product experiences including UX designs that are simple and effectivePassion for customer experience and keen interest in e-commerceAnalytical approach and eagerness to build new productsA hands-on, methodological approach to product discovery, user research, storytelling and backlog prioritization to deliver the maximum user impact in the most cost-effective waysAbility to learn new systems quickly and managing products across the full technology stackA demonstrated track record of shipping products that are highly usable and reliable at scaleAbility to clearly articulate ideas and complex problems via written and verbal communication and effective partner engagement skillsThe ability to translate business requirements into epics and user storiesUnderstanding of business and operational processes as well as key financial and operational metricsAbility to manage and prioritize development tasks to improve team effectiveness and maintain engineers’ energy and passion over timeThe pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.$140,000 - $214,500Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
