Job Title: Data Analyst

Est. Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00/hr. on W2
Work Type: Hybrid (Min. 2- 3 days onsite)
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 7.5-hour workday with 0.5-hour unpaid lunch, Paid for time worked only.

Project Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with data, string analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights. The Data Analyst will play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to support informed decision-making within Canals Infrastructure.

Job Functions & Responsibilities
• Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Clean and preprocess data to remove inconsistencies and errors
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
• Use data visualization tools such as power BI to present insights in a user-friendly format
• Create clear and compelling visualizations (Charts, graphs, dashboards) to communicate findings to stakeholders
• Conduct statistical analyses to derive actionable insights
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and relevance
• Implement and maintain data quality checks to ensure, the integrity of the dat
• Identify and resolve data quality issues in a timely manner
• Propose and implement improvements to data collection and analysis processes

Skills
• Proven experience as a data analyst with a focus on programming and reporting
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and report generation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently

Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (e.g., Computer science, Statistics, Data Science).
