Description

Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Akron, OH
Reports To: Office Manager

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. The Receptionist will greet and assist visitors, manage incoming calls, handle administrative duties, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Greet and welcome guests and visitors in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting room bookings.
  • Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Provide visitors with information about the company, its services, and its location.
  • Ensure all reception areas and common spaces are presentable and welcoming.
  • Assist with other tasks or projects as assigned by the Office Manager or supervisor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
