Position Summary:

Accounting Manager responsibilities include performing all audit procedures required by Graton Resort & Casino's System of Internal Controls that are not performed as part of a daily audit. Further, the Accounting Manager is responsible for reporting back on a weekly basis to the Vice President of Finance and the General Manager regarding all audit results and exceptions, and preparing an exception tracking spreadsheet.

Essential Functions:

1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
2. Perform all audit procedures required by the Graton Gaming Commission and Graton Resort Casino's System of Internal Controls that are not performed as a part of a daily audit.
3. Follow up immediately on any missing paperwork, or daily audit procedures. CTRC-N's.
4. Pull all Accounting Revenue Auditors checklists for audit purposes to ensure that all items have been completed as required.
5. Prepare an audit checklist outlining and attesting to all required procedures.
6. Prepare all exceptions for any errors found as a result of the audits.
7. Ensure that proper responses are received on all audit exceptions.
8. Prepare weekly report to the Vice President of Finance and the General Manager outlining audits
performed and exceptions found.
9. Perform walkthroughs of gaming areas, utilizing the Graton Gaming Commission questionnaires to ensure that Team Members are properly trained and understand all required procedures.
10. Update and maintain an exception schedule by Team Member to ensure that Team Members with repeated exceptions are identified and receive further training.
11. Assist department heads with training in problem areas.
12. Responsible for correspondence with the Graton Gaming Commissione.g. notification of trial audits, etc.
13. Responsible for property record retention, including the maintenance of box logs and location of all boxes.

Required Qualifications:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Minimum five (5) years in the gaming industry dealing with regulations, audits, etc.
3. Proficient in computer software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Experience manipulating and analyzing data.
5. Supervisory experience.

Physical Requirements:

1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distingui sh letters, numbers and symbols.
2. Ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
3. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds with or without assistance.
4. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
