Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This role requires strong leadership skills, deep accounting knowledge, and a track record of overseeing accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage complex accounting processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Manage the preparation and coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and development opportunities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial documents.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Support tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including finance and operations, to improve processes and internal controls.
  • Monitor cash flow, including overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain liquidity.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed by senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum [X] years of accounting experience, with [X] years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
