The Lateral Partner Recruiting & Integration Specialist supports the Legal Recruiting Team in all efforts related to lateral partner recruitment, onboarding, and integration.

Responsibilities
•Work closely with the Legal Recruiting team to support all lateral partner recruiting and integration efforts in the US and assisting globally where needed
•Partner with the Lateral Partner Recruiting & Integration Team to develop and implement Lateral Partner Integration Plans
•Manage onboarding and orientation process for all incoming lateral partners, working across departments and offices to ensure seamless transition, serving as point of contact for lateral and for internal firm resources
•Coordinate introductions and integration activities with current partnership and key members of the Professional Staff
•Monitor and report on progress of the partner integration efforts, offering recommendations for process improvements and innovations and reporting to Lateral Partner Recruiting and Integration Team and other stakeholders, including Practice Group Directors
•Coordinate meetings and interviews between lateral partner candidates, firm leadership and practice group heads. Prepare and distribute relevant materials and documentation to support the recruitment process while maintaining accurate and confidential records of all recruitment activity
•Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and firm processes are followed
•Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, trusted recruiters and legal search firms.
•Assist with scheduling candidates, managing travel, tracking and following up for feedback, reserving conference rooms, and greeting candidates
•Assist in following up with recruiters for candidate availability, feedback on meetings, preparation and submission of candidate LPQs, etc.
•Assist with background and conflicts checks as needed
•Maintain accurate data tracking across various platforms including internal spreadsheets, iManage, and ViRecruit
•Work with Lateral Partner & Integration Team to conduct market research and develop marketplace intelligence for recruiting efforts and for reporting internally
•Process placement invoices
•Be flexible to adjust hours to meet departmental needs.
•Perform other duties and projects as needed

Education
Required
•Bachelor's degree required

Skills and Experience
Required
•3 - 5 years of recruiting experience required, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Client-focused with a professional, personable and outgoing demeanor and demonstrated excellence in providing an elevated candidate experience
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact well and build professional relationships while maintaining confidentiality
•Collaborative approach to working with others of all seniority levels; ability to develop and maintain favorable relationships with attorneys and staff
•Exceptional organizational skills with a strong aptitude for attention to detail and time management and the ability to work independently
•Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate and work on multiple long and short-term projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
•Strong administrative and data management skills
•Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel required; prior experience using viRecruit, Pirical or Leopard Solutions/other legal data bases preferred but not required

Salary Information

NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 at the time of posting.

The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
