Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare Proofs of Claims and objections to bankruptcy plans.
• Handle inquiries from parties and the Trustee's office.
• Manage litigation case activities and calendar.
• Process and organize high volumes of mail/ECF Mail.
• Review bankruptcy petitions, motions, proofs of claim, payment change notices, fee notices, claims transfers, plan objections, and manage dismissal/discharge orders.
• Prepare and e-file pleadings for pending bankruptcy cases.
• Communicate with external clients, debtors, and the Trustee's office.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Previous experience in delinquent tax, claim collection, or bankruptcy is preferred.
• Managing various bankruptcy tasks for creditors
• Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor\u2019s degree is required.
• Proficiency in state and federal court electronic filing systems, including federal CE/ECF systems and Pacer.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, staff, clients, and taxpayers/debtors.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and remain flexible to meet client and attorney needs.
• Capability to understand and follow specific, detailed instructions.
• Ability to work well in a team setting and assist others, while also being able to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong math skills and ability to read and understand account statements.
Pay Details: $58,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year
