My client is looking for a Director of Quality that will focus on ensuring that our client is able to safely deliver the best products to their customers and consumers.

Description

• Manage day to day food safety, quality and sanitation operations
• Serve as a key risk manager through the development and implementation of food safety and quality procedures
• Develop, update, maintain, and implement food safety and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and industry standards
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes, facilities, and products to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to company standards
• Collaborate with production, R&D, supply chain and sales teams to establish and monitor quality metrics, performance indicators and ensure product quality

Profile

• 7+ years of Quality Management or Director-level experience in a food manufacturing facility
• Bachelor's degree is highly desired
• Experience with Customer, Organic, FDA and SQF Audits
• HACCP, PCQI and SQF or BRC Certifications
• Experience with acidified products and USDA protein highly preferred
