Description

Quality Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion a culture of quality across the organization, from product development to production and distribution.
  • Lead and mentor the Quality team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.

Regulatory Compliance & Audits

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local, federal, and international food and beverage safety regulations (e.g., FDA, FSMA, HACCP, SQF, ISO standards).
  • Oversee and coordinate internal and external audits, certifications, and inspections.
  • Manage documentation and reporting for regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

Quality Assurance & Control

  • Establish and oversee quality metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards to monitor product quality and identify improvement areas.
  • Develop and refine SOPs, GMPs, and quality testing protocols for raw materials, production processes, and finished goods.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformance issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to integrate quality standards into new product development and production processes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw material quality meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Provide guidance on continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean quality practices.

Sustainability & Innovation

  • Drive initiatives to enhance product sustainability, aligning quality processes with the company's environmental goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, introducing innovative quality practices to improve efficiency and product excellence.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive quality management experience in the beverage or food manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth understanding of quality assurance methodologies, regulatory compliance, and risk management in the Food or Bev industry.
  • Expertise in food safety programs, such as HACCP, FSMA, and GFSI schemes (e.g., SQF, BRC).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in quality software and tools, as well as data analysis platforms.
