We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee all aspects of quality assurance and control for our production facility. This role is integral to maintaining the highest standards in our flavor development and production processes. Quality Assurance Leadership:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and protocols to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, FSMA, and HACCP). Team Management:

Supervise and train the QC team, fostering a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement. Product Testing:

Oversee the analysis and testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Compliance and Certification:

Manage internal and external audits, including certifications like ISO, Kosher, and Organic. Document Control:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including test results, certifications, and deviation reports. Root Cause Analysis:

Investigate non-conformance issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future occurrences. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with R&D, production, and supply chain teams to ensure consistent product quality and address customer concerns effectively. Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement quality-enhancing strategies.

Profile Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the food and beverage or flavor industry. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (FDA, FSMA, HACCP, GMP). Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems (e.g., LIMS). Experience with flavor manufacturing or related food science fields. Certifications in quality management systems, such as SQF Practitioner or PCQI. Familiarity with sensory analysis and flavor profiling.
