Product Design Engineer Greenwood, MS (On-site) Direct-Hire Salary Target: $100-120KYR DOE Job Description: The Product Design Engineer will focus on product and process development, leveraging engineering principles to enhance product performance, efficiency, and reliability. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize designs, improve processes, and implement cost-effective solutions. The engineer will contribute to the development of innovative products using industry best practices such as Lean, Six Sigma, and design for manufacturing. Required Skills: • 2-5 years of experience in product design, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry. • Proficiency in 3D CAD/PLM systems, with knowledge of SolidWorks or CATIA preferred. • Strong experience with project management tools and data analysis. • Advanced proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Bonus/Soft Skills: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field. • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and design for manufacturing principles. • Creative and innovative mindset for solving complex design challenges. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Strong initiative and commitment to project deliverables and deadlines. • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
