Position Overview:
As the Director of Finance, you will oversee and manage all financial activities of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. You will play a key role in providing strategic financial leadership, partnering with senior management to drive financial decision-making and support the organization’s mission and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Provide insights on financial performance, variances, and trends. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and healthcare regulations.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop and manage operational and capital budgets. Provide financial forecasts and help guide strategic financial planning.
Cost Management: Implement cost control measures to ensure operational efficiency. Analyze expenditures, identify areas of cost savings, and recommend improvements.
Revenue Cycle Management: Ensure the accuracy of billing, reimbursement, and collections. Work closely with the operations team to optimize revenue cycle processes and identify opportunities to enhance profitability.
Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term financial strategies. Provide input on key business decisions and advise on investment opportunities.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure financial practices are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, particularly those related to healthcare finance. Manage internal and external audits.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure a high level of performance and professional growth. Foster a collaborative and accountable work environment.
Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, changes in regulations, and reimbursement models that impact financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience: Experience in Financial management, with at least 5 years in the healthcare industry or a healthcare-related financial role.
Skills:
Strong understanding of healthcare finance, including reimbursement models, regulatory requirements, and healthcare accounting practices.
Expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and MS Excel. Experience with healthcare financial systems is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Certifications: CPA or other relevant certifications preferred.
Pay:
