Position Overview
URI is seeking a new Dean of CELS who will develop and implement a compelling vision and strategy for the College that aligns with and advances URI’s ten-year strategic plan and its Land and Sea Grant missions. Reporting to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Dean is responsible for the overall leadership of the College, including: Program excellence Oversight of administration Budget and financial planning Personnel management Strategic planning We welcome applications from dynamic and experienced academic leaders in relevant disciplines capable of working collaboratively with staff, faculty, students, administrators, community partners, and external organizations.
