Your Mission:
As our Systems Engineer, Product Owner, you'll act as the critical link between stakeholders and engineering teams. You'll translate high-level visions into actionable strategies, prioritize features, manage timelines, and ensure timely delivery of impactful solutions that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Transform program goals into actionable technical plans with clear documentation and artifacts.
Communicate product vision, align expectations, and maintain transparency across all teams.
Create, refine, and prioritize backlog items to meet stakeholder needs and project milestones.
Develop roadmaps and define epics to achieve key milestones.
Utilize platforms like APT to manage resources, streamline workflows, and adapt to changing priorities.
Craft detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track.
Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Create user guides and training materials to ensure seamless adoption.
Who You Are:
You're a driven, detail-oriented professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. With a mix of technical expertise and exceptional communication skills, you know how to balance priorities, keep teams focused, and deliver real value.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in software development and technical project management.
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Agile expertise-Scrum knowledge is a big plus.
Certifications: CSPO, SAFe POPM, PMP, or PMI-ACP preferred.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and processing.
Exceptional ability to simplify and articulate complex ideas for various audiences.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and dynamic environments with resilience and ownership.
Proficiency with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI to analyze data and uncover insights.
Exceptional facilitation and stakeholder management skills to drive collaboration and alignment.
Staff Systems Engineer, Product Owner (Component Owner)
Salary Range: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is
$130,000 - $146,000 . Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
Required Education: 6+ years of systems engineering experience with a Bachelor of Science degree OR Associate degree with 2 additional years beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree OR a High School Diploma with 4 additional years beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Principal Systems Engineer, Product Owner (Component Owner)
Salary Range: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is
$150,000 - $180,000 . Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
Required Education: 12+ years of systems engineering experience with a Bachelor of Science degree OR Associate degree with 2 additional years beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree OR a High School Diploma with 4 additional years beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Clearance Requirement:
This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for a security clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check.
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
