Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing private credit firm, spun out from a leading alternative investment and private equity firm. Over the past 2.5 years, they have successfully raised over $20 billion, with $6 billion dedicated to their middle-market direct lending fund. They are expanding their team and seeking a highly skilled Associate to join their New York City office. Position Overview:
As an Associate in the Private Credit team, you will play a critical role in the execution of middle-market direct lending transactions. You will work closely with senior team members to analyze, structure, and execute investment opportunities. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-growth team and contribute to their continued success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities. Assist in the structuring and execution of middle-market direct lending transactions. Prepare and present investment memos and presentations to the investment committee. Monitor and manage portfolio investments, including financial performance tracking and reporting. Collaborate with senior team members to develop and maintain relationships with borrowers, sponsors, and other stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, preferably with a focus on leveraged finance or direct lending. Proven track record of closing numerous transactions in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
