is recruiting for an
IT Project Manager.
This is a
full time
opporutnity that is responsible to manage the IT Project portfolio and provides PMO subject matter support, timelines and communication to the IT Leadership team and key stakeholders throughout the organization. The Project Manager oversees and performs the activities that support the most complex projects by ensuring reporting and governance compliance, providing portfolio and transparent performance measurements, and trending analytics. The incumbent is responsible for project intake, supply and demand (resource management) methods, analytics, and recommendations. Reporting responsibilities include detailed analysis, timelines for operational needs, dashboards, decision updates, and project meeting cadence.
Examples of Duties (List does not include all duties assigned) Supervises, prioritizes and delegates project action items to contributors including daily and special projects. Leads by example, working alongside other contributors. Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating project expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising results; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Works collaboratively across IT and the entire business and clinical organization applying ITIL and PMI standards and ensuring clear communication and transparency. Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting process improvements for implementing information technologies. Maintains understanding of organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and support departments. Verifies project results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented. Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures. Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action. Maintains quality service by and enforcing organization standards. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Trains staff in all appropriate job functions. Assists project staff with questions / obstacles in performance of team priorities. Adheres to all elements of the established corporate compliance plan. Maintains strictest confidentiality both internally and externally. Performs related work as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required, Masters' degree preferred.
Experience
Requires minimum of five years IT project management experience required, preferably in healthcare setting.
