Technician II - Painter Back of House

We are seeking an experienced Painter with expertise in using basic paints commonly utilized in the field. Experience with wallpaper is a bonus. The ideal candidate should possess a foundational understanding of furniture refinishing, fine finishes, oil-based paints, and their application. Professionalism and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are essential for this role.Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role- Proficiency in using various types of paints and finishes- Knowledge of wallpaper application is a plus- Familiarity with furniture refinishing techniques- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsResponsibilities:- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, patching, or filling holes- Mix paints to achieve the desired color and texture- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection- Remove fixtures and furniture if necessary before painting- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
