The GrouponLive Strategic Account Manager is responsible for building relationships with GrouponLive national brands and advising them on their marketing strategies and campaign execution. By providing merchants and content owners the highest level of expertise and support by understanding the unique need of the live events segment of the local commerce.

Strategic Account Managers serve as advisors and counselors who help these industry leading merchants realize their marketing objectives, ensure effective execution of GrouponLive campaigns and ready them for the next effort in partnership. Candidates must possess strong business acumen, a balance of analytic and interpersonal skills, a strong drive to achieve measurable results, an understanding and appreciation for the live events industry (comprises Sports, Concerts, Arts & Theatre, Family and Comedy) and the ability to multitask. Strategic Account Managers interact with multiple departments at Groupon and must be able to foster collaborative relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders.

You'll spend time on the following:

Serve as a consultant to accounts as they seek to maximize the ROI of their Groupon campaigns Manage on average 40-60 new campaign launches per week Ensure successful and smooth redemption process, particular given live event-based deal structures Manage GrouponLive's proprietary process with Ticketmaster, where the Groupon voucher effectively becomes a ticket for event entry Work alongside GrouponLive's Operations and Ticketmaster to execute GIA, AXS and Tickets.com processes properly Manage communication with merchants through each step of the relationship, from feature prep to day-of-feature and post-feature Execute post-sale merchant communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on merchant deliverables Ensure any client issues are resolved in a timely manner Work closely with Groupon's Accounts Payable and Customer Service teams Ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner Help support GrouponLive Account Management team with internal projects that may include: Assist and create training material for the Account Management team Work closely with Head of Account Management to help improve internal tools/processes within internal departments Build new reporting for internal tools at Groupon

We're excited about you if you have:

3-4 years of relevant experience in Account Management, Sales, Operations, Consulting or General Management Bachelor's degree Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously with aggressive turnaround deadlines Accuracy of projects, proofing and quality assurance Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Team player as well as self-initiative/self starter Salesforce, Zendesk or other CRM experience preferred

This role is hybrid out of our Chicago office. Compensation is a base salary of $60,000 - 70,000 with bonus potential.
