Base Power is seeking a talented
Visual Designer
to join our growing creative team. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Austin, TX, requiring in-office presence 5 days a week In this role, you will help shape compelling digital and print experiences that bring the Base brand to life. You'll work across a variety of creative projects, collaborating closely with Marketing and Product teams to elevate the brand and communicate our mission.
We're looking for someone with a strong portfolio showcasing excellence in concept, design, and execution. You are detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable owning projects from ideation through to completion. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering thoughtful and innovative work while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
:
Create digital and print designs that captivate, engage, achieve business goals, and align with Base's brand.. Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to define, manage, and execute creative projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives. Drive creative inspiration and problem-solving for campaigns, website updates, branding, and more. Ensure design consistency and quality across all deliverables in alignment with Base's brand standards. Incorporate data, user insights, and technical constraints into design iterations. Required Skills / Qualifications
:
1+ years of experience in visual design, web design, or a related field. A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creative problem-solving. Expertise in visual design fundamentals such as typography, color, and layout. Experience collaborating with marketing, creative, and web development teams on effective web solutions. Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of print design processes and requirements. Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills. A growth mindset, driven by curiosity and a passion for making things beautiful and functional. Preferred Skills :
Experience building optimized sites in Webflow. Familiarity with UX best practices and designing within UI design systems. Experience with web-based interaction design principles. Ability to stay informed about emerging design trends and technology applications. Background in designing for B2C startups, especially in the early stages. Skills in creating CSS or SVG-based animations and micro-interactions. Why join Base?
