PURPOSE
This position will provide administrative support to the fine arts department at Hickman High School.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
DISTRICT EXPECTATIONS
All employees of the District are expected to adhere to the policies and regulations of the Board of Education, maintain appropriate certification and competencies necessary for the position, and demonstrate the values of the district at all times. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports To: Director of Fine Arts
Supervises: None
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: High school diploma. Microsoft Office and Google proficient. Accurate and detail-oriented.
Preferred: Clerical experience is desired. Prior use of office equipment is preferred. Ideal candidate will have a professional and friendly demeanor with a demonstrated ability to work well with a variety of individuals in a fast-paced environment.

Other Skills and Abilities: Work closely with a variety of staff members and demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills; Safeguard confidential information.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position an employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear; frequently required to move about and use fingers and controls; Occasionally required to reach, bend, and lift and carry up to ten pounds; Close vision ability to look at a computer screen for long periods of time is required.
Attendance: Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Conditions and Environment: The work environment is frequently chaotic with many students and staff members present and speaking simultaneously.

PURPOSE
This position will provide administrative support to the fine arts department at Hickman High School.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Bookkeeping and budget management for choir, band, theatre, theatre tech, speech and debate, and visual arts
- Management of funds including collecting and depositing money, paying invoices, and processing purchase orders.
- Purchasing supplies via PO and purchasing cards for all performing arts departments
- Working with Charms Office Assistant website database (Band and Choir)
- Maintaining the music libraries including adding new music into the Destiny database, retrieving requested music and sending it out vias school mail, checking items back in when returned, and keeping the library organized.
- Maintaining the PAC calendar
- Selling/reserving tickets to musicals/plays
- Typing/copying programs for concerts, plays and musicals.
- Creating and posting congratulatory posters
- Copying needed teaching materials for music, acting and technical theatre
- Collecting necessary MSHSAA eligibility paperwork and entering students into the database for MSHSAA, MMEA, etc.
- Obtaining and submitting contracts to the district office for board approval
- Schedule and confirm transportation for all fine arts trips
- Work with the district fine arts secretary on various tasks throughout the year
- Perform other duties as necessary to support the mission and vision of Columbia Public School District.
