The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15 Responsibilities You will serve as the NSWC Indian Head Activity Command Information Officer. You will develop and execute NSWC IHD's command wide information technology (IT) vision, goals, strategies, priorities roadmaps, and policies to support mission requirements of the 2200+ industrial plant arsenal organization. You will analyze and synthesize complex data. You will develop recommendations and options, as an authoritative advisor to senior leadership. You will be responsible for the overall direction of the information technology (IT) infrastructure and systems for the organization, and must collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders within and outside NSWC IHD. You will design and implement innovative information technology programs which support mission requirements and met customer needs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading or managing development of Information Technology (IT) business policies or plans to ensure alignment with network operating system requirements and maintain cyber security risk posture/compliance for an IT program. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.. Education Additional Information You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN) in the Corporate Operations department of Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head This announcement uses the STRL for Direct Support direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
