Job Description
We are on the lookout for a diligent HR Recruiter to become part of our team located in Battle Creek, Michigan. In this role, you will be tasked with handling various aspects of the recruitment process, including HRIS systems, and ensuring effective communication within the team. This role offers a contract employment opportunity in the non-profit sector. 100% onsite.
- Position: HR Recruiter/Generalist for Medical Leave Coverage
- Role: HR and Recruiting tasks. Primary focus on recruitment.
- Location: Based in Battle Creek office. Involves traveling, mileage reimbursed.
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Flexibility on schedule with preference for consistent hours.
- Part-Time and Full-Time applicants are both welcome.
- Duration: 3 months, potentially extending up to 14 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Recruiting: Primary task, specifically for retail group. Need to fill approximately 10 entry-level positions and 2 ASM positions.
- Conducting: Reviewing applications, phone screenings, and scheduling in-person interviews across 4-5 stores.
- HR generalist tasks: As a secondary requirement, tasks such as creating trainings, accident reporting, HRIS reporting etc.
Requirements:
- General understanding of HR
- Proficient in creating training materials in PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of HRIS (UKG)
- Basic understanding of state and federal employment laws
- Customer service and organizational skills
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the HR Recruiting field.
• Knowledge and experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.
• Familiarity with Careerbuilder and other similar platforms.
• Demonstrated skills in CRM.
• Experience with About Time software.
• Proficiency in Applicant Track System.
• Ability to conduct thorough Background Checks.
• Understanding and ability to manage Benefit Functions.
• Excellent Communication skills.
