Project Manager

Description We are offering a contract for a Project Manager role in the construction and contractor industry, based in LaVista, Nebraska. As a Project Manager, you will be involved in the management, coordination and execution of projects within the water and wastewater treatment sector. You will play a vital role in planning projects and fostering collaboration within project teams. Responsibilities: - Coordinate and manage construction projects within the water and wastewater treatment industry - Update and maintain project schedules regularly - Collaborate with team members for purchase orders, submittal reviews, and preparation - Ensure the maintenance of job files, submittal logs, RFIs, change orders, and field orders - Verify field measurements for material fabrication and ensure timely deliveries - Facilitate the transfer of spare parts and conduct project-related meetings - Keep abreast of safety standards and provide constructive feedback - Assist in estimating tasks as and when needed - Take on additional duties as assigned by the team. Requirements - Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, a tool used for project management. - Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, which are crucial for data storage and accessibility. - Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage and analyze customer interactions. - Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to manage and integrate the business processes. - Familiarity with IBM software and products. - Proficiency in using About Time, a software for workforce management. - Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology, used for project management in software development. - Experience with Budget Processes, including planning, tracking, and reviewing. - Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients. - Background in the Construction industry, with knowledge of industry standards and regulations. - Proven Project Management skills, including planning, executing, and closing projects. - Possession of a Project Management Certification, indicating a formal understanding of project management principles. - Experience with Waste Management, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of waste disposal systems. - Knowledge of Stormwater Management, including planning, implementing, and maintaining stormwater control measures. - Experience with Waste Water Treatment Plants, including operations, maintenance, and management. - Knowledge of Wastewater Treatment processes and systems, including physical, chemical, and biological treatment technologies.
