Product Development Technician

Qualifications:

• Must be reliable/dependable
• Good technical skills with training in wet chemistry laboratory safety is a must.
• Comfort and knowledge of working with chemicals, especially hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (5 lb. up to 40 lb.).
• Organized with good time management skills.
• Good communications and observation skills
• Good focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel and work with outside agencies (Somerset Raritan Valley Sewerage Authority).
• Ability to perform repetitive work on a weekly basis.
• Appreciation of good housekeeping and ability to clean glassware thoroughly and repetitively.
• Willing to conduct tedious/repetitive work.

Education:

• Degree requirement, BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biological Engineering, Microbiology, Packaging, Materials Science or Polymer Science would be preferred, However we are also open to candidates with high school/community college background as long as this person is dedicated and has a can-do attitude.
