Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer will evaluate and improve manufacturing systems by analyzing processes, systems, and product designs to eliminate waste and recommend areas for improvement. The role requires close collaboration with the production team, driving continuous improvements, and ensuring the efficient implementation of new systems and processes.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of hands-on manufacturing experience, specifically in process improvement or waste reduction projects.
- Proven problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with business intelligence tools to analyze data and identify opportunities.
- Experience with assembly process improvement, including work instruction development, line balancing, and operator training.
- Knowledge of capital equipment advancements, including ROI justification.
- Ability to manage and champion continuous improvement projects from start to finish.
- CAD skills.
- Experience in metal fabrication process improvement (e.g., laser/punch, forming, welding/finishing) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
