Overview

Nakupuna Federal is looking to hire multiple Management Analysts to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)'s Transformation and Strategy Office (TSO). The project is focused on developing strategic performance measures and designing and implementing a performance dashboard. Support activities may include program plan development, management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting activities for strategic and transformation projects to implement IRS' strategic goals and enterprise-wide performance improvement program.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of quantifiable performance measures that allow leadership to assess both operational and transformational performance.
  • Independently draft and prepare written communications that adhere to IRS and legal standards and leveraging the appropriate IRS style guides and templates.
  • Prepare information papers and/or memos in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Provide program management support functions to related governance functions, which includes: developing standard operating procedures, graphics, & governance charts.
  • Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements and develop high-quality pre-brief and read-ahead materials that are comprehensive and digestible for senior-level executive leadership.
  • Gather information from subject-matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
  • Prepare and review presentations and provide strategic communications support, ensuring a consistent voice across all documentation.
  • Participate and facilitate sessions or workshops with stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing shared service offerings within the client organization and develop client relationships.


Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate can develop high-quality written communications for the Federal Government client and demonstrates the ability to comprehend, analyze, and synthesize complex processes and data into digestible and informative content. Specifically, the candidate is familiar with and has experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Proven ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter to create aesthetically pleasing presentations and/or digestible data visualizations geared towards executives.
  • Superb written communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Adobe, SharePoint, and use of office equipment is required.
  • Experience with delivering high-quality client service and demonstrated professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience exercising professional judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently, work under pressure, and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated bias for action and innovation.

Education and Experience: This position requires three to five years of relevant professional experience. This position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

Clearance: This position requires the ability to pass an IRS-mandated background check.

Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:

Work Location: Work is performed in a hybrid environment at the government site in Washington, D.C., and at the Nakupuna Office in Arlington, VA.

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,000.00 to $114,000.00 (annualized USD). The good faith salary range displayed represents the position at time of posting and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
