Overview: The Manager in finance is responsible for leading and managing all financial activities of the FES Division within Smart Care Solutions. They play a key role in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making by the executive team and board of directors.

Overview: The Manager in finance is responsible for leading and managing all financial activities of the FES Division within Smart Care Solutions. They play a key role in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making by the executive team and board of directors.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the financial planning process, including annual budgeting, long-term strategic planning, and monthly forecasting.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and drive profitability.
- Develop financial models to evaluate various scenarios and assess the impact on the company's financial performance.
Budget Management:
- Manage the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop annual budgets and track performance against targets.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements.
- Provide variance analysis and explanations for budget variances.
Strategic Financial Advice:
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team and other Smart Care Leadership to develop financial strategies that support the company's overall objectives.
- Provide recommendations for optimizing financial performance and achieving growth targets.
- Assess the financial implications of strategic initiatives, investments, and business decisions.
Risk Management:
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitor key financial metrics and indicators to proactively address potential issues.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in progressively responsible finance roles, with at least three years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting software; advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with business intelligence tools and building data visualization.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
