The Director of Strategic Supplier Partnership Programs will play a critical role in shaping and executing our procurement and sourcing strategies to support the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing supplier relationships, driving cost efficiencies, managing risks, and fostering innovation to enhance our competitive advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

Optimize and Expand Strategic Supplier Program: Design, implement and administer Strategic Supplier Partnership Program; Track rebates realized and analyze trends with supplier usage Optimize and expand national sundry program: Maintain standard sundry parts lists with each location; Optimize stocking, logistics and procurement practices Market Analysis & Strategic Sourcing: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Lead the strategic sourcing process, ensuring the selection of suppliers that deliver quality, value, and innovation. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to drive performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions. Cost Optimization: Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and process improvements. Develop and track KPIs to measure procurement effectiveness and value delivery. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, product development) to understand business needs and ensure procurement strategies support overall organizational goals. Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain risks, including those related to geopolitical factors, supplier stability, and market volatility. Establish contingency plans to ensure operational continuity. Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement and sourcing team. Foster a high-performance culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional development. Technology and Process Improvement: Leverage technology and digital tools to enhance procurement processes and decision-making. Identify opportunities for automation and improvement in sourcing practices.

Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of procurement, supply chain analysis or consulting or strategic sourcing experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to building relationships.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master of Business Administration is preferred.
  • Consulting experience, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management, or a related analytical field with a focus on Supply Chain or Operations Management is preferred.
  • Experience building procurement category programs or strategies and worked with BI to build dashboards for monitoring is preferred.
