Position Summary & Duties: Hunt, Guillot & Associates (HGA) is seeking a Strategic Accounts Manager with a background in Engineering Consulting. This role focuses on generating new business and strengthening client relationships in the engineering consulting space.
Strategic Accounts Manager Key Responsibilities:
• Develop new business opportunities in engineering consulting services across multiple industries (oil & gas, pulp & paper, specialty chemicals, renewables).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Pursue sales leads via cold calling, networking, and industry events.
• Prepare and present technical sales presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams on proposal development and negotiations.
• Gather and analyze client data to align solutions with their needs.
Qualifications:
Strategic Accounts Manager Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (or Associate's Degree with relevant experience).
• 5+ years of business development experience in engineering consulting.
• Established contacts in relevant industries (oil & gas, pulp & paper, chemicals, renewables).
• Proficient in MS Office and social media networking (LinkedIn, etc.).
• Experience with budgeting, proposal development, and negotiations.
• Located in: The Woodlands, TX; Ruston, LA; Baton Rouge, LA; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Tulsa, OK
