Quality Control / Quality Assurance Technician

Salary Range: $60k - $80k Permanent Position with Benefits
A Growing Manufacturing Company seeks a Quality Control / Quality Assurance Technician who has had previous experience working with the production of heavy industrial machinery, parts and fabrications.
REQUIREMENTS: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Engineer, Technical School Diploma and / or a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment as a Quality Control / Quality Assurance Technician / Engineer. Candidate must be able to read and understand blueprints and technical documentation. Candidate will review customer specifications as related to QC requirements. Candidate must be capable of reviewing Test Reports and Material Specifications to ASME code (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) for incoming materials, coordinating Non- Destructive Examination (NDE), review and approve billing from outside vendors/suppliers. Candidate will review drawings from Engineering, create tracking documentation, weld maps and Inspection Test Plans (ITP). Candidate will assemble and distribute final data packages for each project. Candidate will assist Management with Quality Audits as required by ASME and the NBIC (National Board Inspection Code). Candidate is responsible for calibration and documentation of inspection test equipment. Candidate will perform inspection reports on incoming and outgoing parts and components. Candidate will inspect and evaluate returned and/or damaged products and recommend a repair plan. Candidate is responsible for paint application inspections. Candidate shall perform final inspection reports to release projects for shipment.
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
