POSITION SUMMARY:

Quality Engineers help create solutions as part of the Quality Assurance and Engineering Team. They work to find defects, determine the causes of those defects, and provide solutions to defected problems. The Quality Engineer has several other duties and responsibilities, some of which include:

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES Determining quality improvement factors. Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of Repair Processes, products, and production equipment. Making sure processes adhere to quality standards. Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data. Working in accordance with deadlines for delivery of products and services. Actively participates in root cause analysis Collecting, organizing, monitoring, and distributing information related to the Quality Management System and process improvement functions. Ensure that procedures and work instructions are documented according to corporate, AS9110 and regulatory standards. Perform and report supplier and internal audits. Provide supplier quality performance input to support the Quality Management System Participate and lead external audits to include AS9110 and regulatory audits. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES AS9110/9100 auditor certified. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering or working with Quality Management Systems. The successful candidate must have strong computers skills, working knowledge of MS Office applications and advanced knowledge of MS Excel Ability to work with a wide range of technical, sales, repair, management personnel and business process owners globally. Interpersonal and negotiating skills necessary to build effective working relationships. Proven ability to effectively lead cross functional teams and perform root cause analysis. Quantum Control Experience Previous work experience in an engine MRO environment preferred Working Conditions / Environment / Special Requirements Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations. As required by the position, must have the ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 "Respirator Protection" regulations with no restrictions that would prevent the proper use and/or seal of the respirator. Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations
