We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. The candidate must be willing to work in various parts of the warehouse including shipping, receiving, kitting, labeling, and packing. The Warehouse Associate will work on the floor for 8-10 hours daily and should be highly organized with a keen eye for detail. Teamwork is essential as our team collaborates to innovate creative solutions and maintain excellence. This role will primarily focus on the Kitting department, performing tasks such as creating, consolidating, and conducting quality control checks on inventory items.
Responsibilities- Create new inventory kits
- Consolidate and perform quality control (QC) checks on returning inventory and kits
- Closely follow guidelines for managing and purging inventory/material based on expiration dates and lot numbers
- Pack/box up kitted items
- Restock inventory on packing floor
- Restock depleted pick locations with reserve inventory as needed
- Conduct daily cycle counts using Warehouse Management System (WMS) on handheld device
- Stock newly received inventory
- Assist with inbound, outbound, and shipping operations as needed
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Positive can-do attitude

- Highly organized
- Ability to multi-task
- Highly self-motivated
- Ability to lift 70 pounds consistently
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Experience with kitting, inventory management, shipping and receiving
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and handheld devices
- Experience with order pulling and material handling

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a warehouse environment which is both professional and physical. The role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as dollies, skids, and pallet jacks, as well as office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The physical demands include regularly lifting and carrying boxes and lab equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, Maryland.
